A few months ago we published a blogpost on the importance of manifestation and creating your dream life. We thought that it was time to return to that topic and refocus on our attention on the incredible power we have in determining our life journey.
Journalling, visualisations and manifestation all have a integral part to play to pursuing our dreams. We use these tools to identify what exactly we want, to feel into the moment and examine how to get there. Using these techniques not only allow us to create a tangible outcome for our efforts, but also a focus for us to pinpoint when we run into challenges.
Having something to work towards is a powerful motivator. Whether that be a finish line in a race or a degree after years of study. We all need something to hook our efforts to. And that is where visualisation comes in. Now, for many people this can sound a bit wishy-washy, but believe us when we say that you can never underestimate the power of your mind when it is motivated by something you want deeply. Creating a scenario in your head in which you have achieved your goals and have come out at the point in which you wish to reach is a wonderful way to map out your trajectory.
For example, one way to do this is through journalling. Sit down for 10 minutes and write down what your perfect day would look like in your ideal life. What are you wearing, how is your routine, what is it that you are doing and most importantly how are you feeling whilst you do that? Get into true detail, create a tapestry of intricacies and feel your response deep within you.
Do this as often as you can, mapping out different days and feelings, demonstrate how it would feel to get that promotion or to buy your dream house. Go back and read them or develop mantras or affirmations that reinforce that which you are striving for. If you work with intentional consistency you will marvel at the changes that occur and most interestingly what you are manifesting begins to take form.
We hope that this has given you some inspiration and perhaps guidance if you need. Let us know your thoughts and whether this is something you have tried.
Much Love,
