We can all agree that having a positive mindset his a very admirable trait. Something that is often used to describe a person who, despite challenges, maintains a degree of light in their day. However something that we feel must be understood, is that in order to be positive you do not always need to be happy.
Maintaining an overall experience and outlook of positivity in your life enables you to roll with the punches so to speak, but it doesn’t automatically mean that in each and every moment you need to be happy. Happiness 100% of the time is hugely daunting for many people and can undermine our best intentions. So today we are hoping to shed light on how you can be an incredibly positive person, but also have your low moments.
Positivity, in our minds, is the reflection of values that uphold a general sense of understanding that the world is changeable and that we ourselves are able to adapt. It is the choice to remain open and be aware of your reactions rather than fall into a natural habit of victim vs situation. Maintaining and creating a positive attitude towards life and its many ups and downs is like exercising a muscle. You need to be fully invested and aware that it takes time. Learning to open yourself up to the changing tide of the universe and not remain stuck in your preconceived outcomes can be challenging, but often yields up much sweeter results.
This is what it means to be a positive person, to be open and available to all that the universe, life and your journey has in store.
We hope that this has offered you some insight into the ways you can reintroduce yourself to your own positivity. Let us know your thoughts!
Much Love,
